Let’s pump it up a few notches and hit it off with one of the bigger bands. The Shins indie-rocker’s paradise, but of course pre-Garden State.
I joke, The Shins still remains to be a threat and hope to bounce further up the chain after their seldom forgotten Wincing The Night Away. And hopefully, Coachella will re-invigorate energy back into their band that’s been missing in the past couple years. With an upcoming album coming up, their Coachella is going to be a turning point in their career: will they be a forgotten thing of the past or solidify themselves in the indie-rock hall-of-fame?
Signs point to the latter — their new single Simple Song shows they haven’t forgotten a thing.
