Always, there are a couple of really hot artists that are on the cusp of popularity — whether it be on the radio or the blogosphere — that squeeze into the epic lineups of Coachella. Keep Shelly In Athens is one of them. For the past few months, I’ve been following them fairly closely and they’ve quickly risen up as my favorite new artists of the past couple of years.

Downtempo may not be for everyone, but the haunting vocals send chills left and right at every beat that it’s worth anyone’s time. Even though they are listed towards the bottom of the Coachella list, we can only hope that they will perform when the sun goes down, propelling their ghastly echoing tunes throughout the midnight sky.
